Public transport:: Train: Gospel Oak or Hampstead Heath Station (Overground), followed by a 27 minutes walk through Hampstead Heath Park to reach Kenwood House. Alternatively the bus route ( line 268 and change for line 210) will take about the same time. Tube: Golders Green or Archway (Northern Line) , then bus line 210 (about 19 minutes journey from the station). Alternatively, the walk from the tube station is about 32 minutes to Kenwood House. Bus: lines 210, 603 and H3.

During winter, visitors can enjoy a spectacular festive light trail through gardens of the historic 17th century house.

Snapping selfies as you admire the glittering gardens and impressive light displays, before stopping to warm up with mulled wine and minced pies.

Kenwood House, a 17th century formely state home, is illuminated with projections of Christmas trees, candy bars and a big red bow.
