Fortnum & Mason on Christmas Eve is a bustling but delightful place to be. Each floor is filled with exceptional British produce, from festive tipples and luxury hampers to artisan cheeses and seasonal treats perfect for a Christmas feast.

We absolutely love the Fortnum's Food Hall for its giant sausage rolls and Scotch eggs, which make excellent additions to a Christmas Eve spread. Throughout the festive season, visitors can also enjoy seasonal displays and occasional live performances that add to the ambience.

Best for: Foodie gifts, festive hampers and British produce.
Good to know: The Food Hall is especially busy on 24 December, so arrive early for the best selection of food and hampers. Many products are beautifully packaged, making them ideal last-minute gifts.

On the Tube, services typically begin to wind down in the afternoon and evening. Most bus routes operate during the day, but night services are usually not available.
