East: A Getty Images Exhibition at Westfield Stratford City

If you're out shopping at Westfield Stratford City in the coming weeks, don't miss a unique photography exhibition which is on display at the shopping centre. Called "East", the show is a photographic retrospective exploring London's East End. The pop-up gallery on The Street is devoted to Getty Images' archival collections of the East End and its residents: the cosmopolitan atmosphere, the communities, and incredible portraits of locals' resilience during the Blitz in 1940. Artwork will be available to order throughout the exhibition in bespoke frames and sizes: prices start from £65.

Moet & Chandon Pop Up In Covent Garden Piazza

In celebration of Valentine's Day this month, Moët & Chandon will be in Covent Garden inviting champagne lovers to sample its limited-edition Rosé Impérial. The new edition is described as a decidedly elegant bubbly, with bright fruitiness and lashings of red berries. The champagne is perfectly packaged for Valentine's day in a gift box complete with glasses and a gold marker pen: budding Casanovas are encouraged to graffiti declarations of love across the bottle's label. If you're worried about your artistic talents, you can always ask the professional graffiti artists in store to personalise a bottle for you.

London Fashion Week at Selfridges with the Bright Young Things

For the second year running, Selfridges has started the year championing the creative talents of 15 UK-based emerging stars from the worlds of fashion, art and design and food. The second Bright Young Things scheme has seen the youngsters take over Selfridges' window displays, and sell their products in pop-up shops within the department store. Now London Fashion Week is upon us, Selfridges is hosting a series of workshops and events to better introduce you to the Bright Young Things' extraordinary work. B-Store at Liberty

Savile Row favourite B-Store is opening a temporary space in the second floor of Liberty next month. The installation space, by Tom Finch and Coville-Walker studio, will house the new and exclusive B-Store Loves Liberty collection. This new line includes womenswear for the first time. Each B-Store garment features a charming injection of Liberty Print, and will be accompanied by coordinating bags and shoes.

Children's Book Illustration Exhibition at Foyles

Foyles' Gallery is presenting an exhibition of children's book illustrations next month. The show is the result of a partnership with Cambridge School of Art's prestigious MA in Children's Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University. The show displays some of the most inspirational and imaginative new talent working in book illustration today, taken from the university's latest pool of students. The show is a must-see for those interested in the genre, as well as lovers of art and design in general.

If your New Year's resolution to get crafty in 2012 has not got off to a good start, help is at hand from John Lewis next month. The Oxford Street department store is holding two knitting events in February. The first is an introduction for absolute beginners, or a refresher for rusty returnees, covering casting on, knit and purl stitches, simple increasing and decreasing, casting off, tension and basic pattern reading. The second is aimed at knitters who'd like to experiment with colour and more advanced techniques. Both cost £40; refreshments and materials are included in the price.

Established in 1993 by Nigo in the backstreets of Tokyo, BAPE® has become an iconic and exclusive member of the street wear market. With the Pirate store, the brand offers celebratory limited edition t-shirts and heavily discounted products for a limited time only. QEST Crafting Excellence Exhibition at Fortnum & Mason

Dickens Book Club at Foyles

Foyles has joined forces with the Museum of London to celebrate the museum's exhibition about Charles Dickens. The bookshop is hosting three special events in coming months: a Dickens Book Club about Bleak House in February; a Dickens and London event in March; and a Book Club on Oliver Twist in April.
