Oxford and Bodleian Library
The first stop is Oxford, a beautiful and historic city and home to the oldest university in the English-speaking world, that’s full of stunning architecture.
Visit the Bodleian Library, one of Europe's oldest libraries – step into Duke Humfrey's Library, which served as Hogwarts' library in the films, within. Then, walk through the Divinity School, a Gothic-style room that you might recognise as the infirmary at Hogwarts.
Next up is Christ Church College and the hall that served as the inspiration for the Great Hall in Hogwarts. Follow the stone staircase to where Professor McGonagall first welcomed Harry to Hogwarts.
You then have some free time to explore more architecture and magic, as well as the atmospheric cobbled streets and alleyways in Oxford.
Lacock
It’s then time to take in the wonder of quaint medieval village, Lacock. This historical gem has been featured in many Harry Potter film scenes, including those set in Godric's Hollow and around Hogwarts.
An exploration of Lacock Abbey, a former monastery, allows you to walk through the corridors of Hogwarts featured in the films and see the classrooms of Professor Snape and Professor Quirrell. The abbey's grand interiors also served as the setting for Horace Slughorn’s hideout in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
