Chelsea Football Team

From football, rugby, cricket and tennis, to more unusual sports on skates and skis, London is host to a wealth of sporting events and activities.

Access for Spectators

Most of London's major sporting venues are accessible to people with disabilities, although facilities vary. Make sure you tell the venue about your access requirements when booking.

Wheelchair Users

Generally, stadiums and arenas are wheelchair accessible. However, in some cases there are a restricted number of seats for wheelchair users. It's best to book in advance.

Hearing and Visually Impaired Spectators

Most venues offer a live commentary via a headset for people with impaired vision and hearing. Sometimes hearing loops or infra-red systems are also available.

Assistance Dogs

Stadiums and arenas generally allow assistance dogs, including guide dogs, hearing dogs and service dogs. It's usually against the law for service providers to refuse assistance dogs onto their premises.

Blue Badge Parking

Most venues have blue badge parking onsite. In most cases, prior arrangement is necessary. Again, it's best to call in advance to enquire about any requirements or restrictions.

Concessions for Disabled People

Some teams and events offer concessions for people with disabilities. Often, accompanying personal assistants or carers enter for free.
