Cricket is the closest thing to baseball the English have and the Oval is one of the old traditional grounds.

It's easily accessible to the Northern line tube station (Oval) and a lot of the South London bus lines (185/36). On a game night I found that parking in the area wasn't too bad, either.

I came here with some work colleagues for my first live cricket match. I used to watch the game with my granddad when I visited him as a child so luckily I know how to follow the game.

The cricket grounds here is massive. Its really hard to miss it even if you train terminates at Kennington Tube station. You just have to follow the crowd and the huge flood lights looming behind the houses...more
