An exuberant afternoon festival celebrating all things spring, May and maypoles! For everyone, especially suitable for children under 12 and their families. The afternoon will feature the scintillating step dance and rhythmic singing-for-dancing of JigJaw; as well as folk duo Megson performing a special family friendly set from their lovely new album of children’s folk songs. Plus live music, barn dancing, maypoles, morris dancing, visual arts and crafts, clogs and more. Dances are especially selected to suit family groups of all ages, so everyone can take part. To ensure everyone has fun, children under 5 may need guiding or carrying through some of the moves, and groups should include a minimum of one adult for every four children.
