Hanayui, from Sado Island in Japan, is the sister group of the world-renowned Kodo Drummers.They bring to the UK a beautiful performance of Japanese dance, song, elaborate costume and expert Taiko drumming. Highlights include stunning folk dance and drumming from Chieko Kojima, an original Kodo member since 1976, and expert traditional dance from award-winning Okinawan dancer Mitsue Kinjo.
