Master hang player Manu Delago makes his debut in the Eclectica series, fresh from Björk’s Biophilia tour. Previous collaborations include Shpongle, Didier Lockwood, Bugge Wesseltoft, the Cinematic Orchestra and Peter Wiegold. Here he performs ethereal music for hang and percussion, including the UK premiere of the first piece for Hang and orchestra, with the strings of the London Symphony Orchestra. The hang is a magical instrument made from two deep drawn, coated steel sheets.
