What is the Ramses and the Pharaohs' Gold exhibition?
Presented in partnership with Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities and the Egyptian Museum of Cairo, Ramses and the Pharaohs' Gold is a fascinating exhibition that explores the power, ambition and enduring legacy of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs.
At its heart is Ramses II, also known as Ramses the Great, one of history’s most influential pharaohs. Ramses II was famous for having built vast monuments and for his military campaigns, attesting to his power and legacy. His 67‑year reign is brought to life through various impressive displays, revealing a ruler determined to secure his place in history for millennia.
Featuring the pharaoh’s own coffin, exquisite royal treasures and immersive environments that transport you back more than 3,000 years, this unmissable cultural event arrives at NEON, Battersea Power Station, following a five-year-long world tour including acclaimed runs in Paris, San Francisco, Sydney and Tokyo.
