1. Gordon Ramsay

He may be just as well known for using the f-word as he is for cooking, but Gordon Ramsay's flagship restaurant on Royal Hospital Road is so good it's one of the only eateries in London to boast three Michelin stars. 2. Marco Pierre White

Famed for being the youngest and first British chef for achieving three Michelin stars, Marco Pierre White has a number of restaurants across the city. Situated in Leicester Square, Mr White's is the perfect spot to pair with a touch of sightseeing, serving up succulent steaks and authentic Italian pizzas.

7. Angela Hartnett – Murano

Dine on fine Italian food at Angela Hartnett's Murano. The celebrity chef made her first television appearance on Hell's Kitchen, while working for Gordon Ramsay. Now Hartnett runs her own Michelin-starred establishment, serving dishes inspired by her Italian grandmother's love of food.
