This year marks the launch of the global LEGO Festival celebrating the UN-established International Day of Play, which was first acknowledged in 2024, advocated by the LEGO Group and Foundation and a campaign by Save the Children and other partners.
The festival allows families and friends to create memorable experiences through limitless creativity and imagination. Guests can interact with different models and zones in their own way and the experience encourages self-expression, learning and connecting with others.

Leading up to the UN-recognised International Day of Play on 11 June 2025, the LEGO Group and LEGOLAND understand how important play is for a child’s development and celebrate World Play Day in recognition of that. The day is dedicated to the impact that play has and the joy it creates.
As Fiona Eastwood, CEO of Merlin Entertainment puts it: “LEGO Festival will embody what LEGOLAND is all about – play as a way of life.
Plans for the LEGO Festival
Once guests enter the Resort they are welcomed with a photo opportunity featuring an iconic and personalised “I heart Play” LEGO model. Each child receives a festival lanyard before they are free to explore the five zones. At the end of the day, they can make a “Play Pact” which simply requires them to promise to “build more, laugh louder, explore endlessly and always keep playing!” For each “pact” made, Merlin Entertainment and the LEGO Group will arrange play time for underserved children and their families at a LEGOLAND Resort.
Visitors get to enjoy five immersive zones and see brand-new LEGO models created to inspire play. With children in mind and putting them at the heart of everything, guests can explore five different areas that consist of music, creativity, dance, gaming and a chill out area.
Secure your tickets now and experience a world of play at LEGOLAND Windsor.
