Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge coach tour
About
Treat yourself to a one-day luxury coach tour from London to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and the ancient Roman town of Bath.
Visit iconic Windsor Castle
Start the day by travelling to Windsor Castle and re-live royal wedding memories in St George's Chapel, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot. The chapel is also the final resting Place of Queen Elizabeth II. See inside the State Apartments and admire the incredible landscaped gardens surrounding this grand castle.
Experience the Changing of the Guards ceremony at the castle and see the guards in their red uniforms and bearskin caps if you visit on Thursday or Saturday.
Explore mystic Stonehenge
Next, step into an ancient world at the circle of the Neolithic stones at Stonehenge. Steeped in mystery, with only theories to explain how and why this structure came to be, see what your imagination can conjure up in this mythical place.
Turn back time with a Lithodomos Ancient World Multimedia Guide, a self-guiding virtual experience that shows reconstructions of the historic site and provides interesting infographics and fun facts from your own device.
Step into the visitor centre and see archaeological objects discovered in the landscape and find a recreation of the Neolithic houses near the centre found in excavations in 2006 and 2007.
Discover elegant Bath
Spend the rest of the day exploring the Unesco World Heritage site of Bath. Of course, no trip to Bath is complete without visiting the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms where water still flows from Britain's only hot spring. Be sure to take in the Georgian architecture and, if you have time to spare, visit the beautiful Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, and perhaps some of Jane Austen's favourite spots.
