About

The House of Illustration exhibits illustrations from emerging talent to established artists from all around the world.

The House of Illustration found a permanent home in the lovely Granary Square, at the heart of the King's Cross regeneration area in 2014. House of Illustration's new gallery and education space is the place to see, learn about and enjoy illustration in all its forms, from adverts to animation, picture books to political cartoons and scientific drawings to fashion design.

Important information

The House of Illustration will not reopen the Granary Square site but will instead focus resources on the development of the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration in Islington. The new centre is expected to open in 2025.
