What is The Smeds and the Smoos about?

This colourful show tells the tale of two groups of aliens living on the same faraway planet – the Smeds, the red aliens, and the Smoos, the blue aliens. Due to their differences, they are forbidden from becoming friends. Until a young Smoo named Janet and a Smed named Bill find themselves falling in love, against all odds.

Knowing that their families will disapprove, they choose to escape to a different planet. But it isn’t long before their families do all they can to get them back.

Performances for the family-friendly show take place Fridays to Wednesdays and times vary: Monday, Tuesday and Friday showings at 11am and 2pm, and Monday at 4.30pm. Wednesday and Sunday showings at 10.30am and Saturday at 10.15am.
