We talk to BBC Radio 1 DJ, Rob Da Bank about his favourite music, bars, parties and places in London.
Q: Where do you live in London?
A: East Dulwich. I've been there for about 5 years.
Q: Where did you last eat out in London?
A: I ate at Alan Yau's new Japanese restaurant Sake No Hana. It was definitely a different dining experience. I wasn't really sure what I was ordering. I like the fact that they don't serve wine, so you end up getting on the old sake!
Q: Where do you think serves the best London breakfast?
A: Blue Mountain Café on North Cross Road in East Dulwich. It's child-friendly which is important for me as I have a 2-year-old son. The food's great too. I normally have a vegetarian breakfast.
Q: What's the best party you've been to in London?
A: I don't go to clubs in London if I'm not DJing. My mate Duncan had a pretty crazy house party in Brixton recently. There were general nutters wandering around with animal heads on. I turned up in the middle of the night and it was all very debauched. I remember a horse veering at me around a bathroom door at one point. I won't be going back in a hurry.
Q: What's the best play, gig, comedy act you've been to in London recently?
A: I saw The Imagined Village at the Royal Festival Hall. They were fantastic. Benjamin Zephaniah and Billy Bragg are both in the group. They take you on a mad audio-visual trip through ancient folk to modern day. Their music's really moving.
I got straight on the phone to their agent after the gig and I've booked them for Camp Bestival.
Q: What's your favourite London icon?
A: The Science Museum. I've been going there since I was a child and now I'm taking my son there. It's free and great fun, full of rockets and space ships and trains. You can never get bored there.
Q: Where do you think's the most romantic place in London?
A: The Cigar Bar at Claridges. It’s a wicked little bar in the middle of the hotel. It only fits about 10 people. It's a little haven of tranquillity and the barman makes great cocktails.
Q: What's your favourite shop in London?
A: My friend has a clothes shop called Folk on Lambs Conduit Street. I'm pretty much decked out in his clothes all the time. It's a very cool brand. Previously, it was only sold in Japan.
Q: What's your top tip for visitors?
A: Walk places rather than take the tube. It doesn't take as long as you think and you get to see more of the city.
Q: If you were invisible for the day where would you go?
A: The changing rooms in Agent Provocateur!
Q: What do you miss most when you're away from London?
A: My wife, my house and East Dulwich. East Dulwich is a buried treasure in London. There's no tube, so you get a real solid London community and it really feels like home.
