Q: Where do you live in London?
A: I live in West London in Acton. I've lived there for years, but I'm always travelling so I'm not at home much.
Q: Where did you last eat out in London?
A: There's a lovely little Japanese and Thai restaurant in Brixton called Fujiyama that I eat at regularly. It's always full, very hard to get a table. Yakisoba is my favourite dish there.
Q: Where do you think serves the best London breakfast?
A: I don't eat breakfast very often, but I do really like the Pavement Café on Clapham Common.
Q: What's the best party you've been to in London?
A: Ooh, that's hard! There are so many amazing music scenes in London. I've been to some great one-off events and mixed-media events. I played an afternoon session at the Big Chill Bar as part of the Brick Lane Festival. That was pretty special. It was roadblock.
Q: What's the most you have ever spent on a night out?
A: Well, I'm lucky as most of the time I'm DJing so I get free drinks. I have been known to put a couple of hundred behind the bar for peoples birthdays back in the day.
Neighbourhood is probably my favourite bar. It's pretty lively, even on weekdays.
Q: What's you favourite London venue to play in?
A: I love playing at Plan B in Brixton. I've never had a duff night there. My West London fans always turn up in large numbers to show their support. I do the Carnival warm-up there every year, which gets queues down the road.
Q: What's your favourite London icon?
A: I won't say Big Ben, that's too bog standard. Trellic Tower in Ladbroke Grove is my favourite. It's a famous tower block designed by Erno Goldfinger. It always reminds me of home. I was born in Ladbroke Grove - I'm a true Ladbroke Grover.
Q: Where do you think's the most romantic place in London?
A: You can’t beat Richmond Park. Holland Park is lovely too. I cycle round it on my chopper in the summer. Cycling along the Thames from Mortlake to Putney along is absolutely breathtaking too.
Q: What's your favourite shop in London?
A: I couldn't live without the Soho record shops.
Q: What's your top tip for visitors?
A: Don't believe all the negative press about London being a bad place.Q: If you were Mayor for the day, what would you do/change?
A: Get rid of the congestion charge.
Q: What do you miss most when you're away from London?
A: I miss the creative energy, the style and the fashions that go with different music tastes. I love that you can walk down the road and see the jungalists, the emos, the grime fans, and you can tell them all by their clothing!
