Gay and Lesbian Clubs in South London

In South London, Vauxhall has firmly made its mark on the gay map with its after-hours club scene. It's the gay hub, but there's other areas south of the river- and clubs - that are well worth checking out too.

Area

Polysexual club Area has some of the hottest sounds around, and some of the most inventive nights in town. The numbers add up: 3 dancefloors, 5 bars, 2 VIP areas, and plenty of room for everyone to join in with the fun!

Club Colosseum

Decadence and dance music clash at this popular haunt. The dancefloor is huge, the decor to die for, the riverside views are spectacular, and even the bar staff at Club Colosseum have glitter ball smiles!

Fire

Underneath railway arches, this burning-hot club has been refurbished and is armed to the teeth with class. Fire hosts the centrepiece of the Vauxhall weekend A:M on Fridays, and Sunday all-nighter Orange. With a sound system that will rattle your bones, a laser lightshow and some of the capital's top groove pushers at the decks, Fire will leave you smoking!

The Hoist

Dress to kill if you're heading to South London institution, and one of Europe's most famous fetish clubs, The Hoist. The club hosts theme nights and sleaze parties. Just don't tell your mother.

XXL

XXL club night at The Arches is BIG on personality, and has been catering for bears, cubs, chubs and chums for more than 8 fur-filled years. The Arches has 2 different dance areas to shake your stuff at, 2 bars where you can chill and chat, plus a glorious garden for some relaxing downtime.

Royal Vauxhall Tavern

London's Royal Vauxhall Tavern hosts a range of alternative club and cabaret events, with regulars such as the differently themed Duckie club nights to one-offs and festivals such as its Hot August Fringe. RVT has a 24-hour licence as well, so you can party on until the sun comes up.
