British contemporary jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine showcases his eclectic new album, 'Transition In Tradition'. This album sees a new sound for Pine, with bass clarinet often taking centre stage alongside harmonium, castanets and mandolin. In the 2009 New Years Honours he was awarded a CBE for services to music.
