About Club Gascon

If you’re looking for award-winning French food in a chic environment, go no further than Club Gascon in Farringdon’s Smithfield Street. Set in the elegant old Lyons Tea House, the marble walls, wooden floors, big mirrors and olive-green banquettes give the dining room an old-school sophistication. The restaurant’s Michelin starred menu celebrates the gastronomy of South-West France and offers an amazing selection of eight different types of foie gras, and signature dishes include the glazed black cod, lobster dumplings and a delicious confit of organic salmon, violet tea and citrus chutney. Club Gascon’s wine list is to-die-for, and the service is fantastic.

First visit to Club Gascon @ Smithfield for sometime. Shouldn't have lefit so long. A pleasant welcome from mine host on arrival. The choice on the menu was excellent and all three of us really enjoyed our lunch choices and received excellent service from our smiling french waitress. The wine list is first class but pricey but the sommelier did find us something the from the Basque region which was not only competively priced but more imortantly eminently drinkable. We will return soon.

It was a personal catch up with my dad who was in town so we went to Club Gascon in West Smithfield. He loves this venue. I must say I have not been for a while and | really enjoyed it. Service was good and attentive but not rushed and the food was nicely presented. The atmosphere was good and made it feel really relaxed - more like a Saturday booking. I'll go to Club Gascon in West Smithfield again soon and will recommend it

Very good food although fairly pricey. Very good for a City based lunch.

We had the 5 course tasting menu (+amuse bouche and pre-dessert) with wine paring. I think the price was very reasonable (55 for the menu and 30 for the wine pairing). Would go back again.
