What does London do to be sustainable?

London leads the way as a sustainable city with extensive green initiatives from robust public transport options and cycling paths to the preservation of green spaces, and the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to reduce air pollution. The city also invests in renewable energy projects, recycling and waste reduction and support for eco-friendly businesses.  

What are the most sustainable areas in London?

Sustainable areas can be found across the whole of London. Destinations such as Richmond, Walthamstow, Croydon and Barnet are home to many of the city's green spaces. Areas including Camden, Brixton and Hackney are home to eco-conscious markets, while cycling paths, community gardens and energy-efficient buildings are dotted across every borough.
