We started with oysters - superb, especially the Scottish ones - and proceeded to the Dover Sole Meuniere, which is impossible to cook perfectly - and it was perfect. Superb service, quiet: you can actually talk, comfortable. We're going again next week for the halibut.

It is no accident that this specialist fish restaurant has survived and thrived for so long. It is the very quintessence of British class. My personal favorites are the lobster bisque followed by sole meunière which are always wonderful. And even though it is quite formal and serious, the staff are very warm and unstuffy.

Magnificent in every way. Joined a dear friend for dinner last evening. Exquisite food, perfectly complimentary wine list, outstanding and courteous service. Lovely appointed dining room. Wilton's hit the ball out of the park on all fronts.

Visited on a recent trip to London. The food was fantastic with excellent service to match. Spoke to the keeper of all things oyster and salmon at the bar. He was very knowledgeable about his offerings but not stuffy, very friendly. We took our 18 and 21 year old with us and they loved it. We were in Paris, Bath and London for our trip of 12 days and this was the hands down favorite place... more
