About

Check out events at Battersea Arts Centre (BAC), a community hub in south-west London housed in a building with a rich history.

This former Town Hall contains the largest surviving Robert Hope-Jones theatre organ in the world. Key moments in the building’s history include a visit from American civil rights activist Paul Robeson and the election of John Archer as the first black Mayor of a London Borough.

Today, Battersea Arts Centre provides free, bookable spaces for artists to use and stages regular ticketed events, including concerts, opera performances and immersive exhibitions. See the BAC website for details of what’s on.

On the ground floor, Tom’s cafe serves up snacks, cakes, craft lager and more.
