Stonehenge is located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, about 90 miles (145km) west of London.

What will I see on the Simply Stonehenge tour? 

On the day of your tour, make your way to the Golden Tours meeting point on Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria where you'll need to present your e-ticket to board the luxury coach. Checked in and ready to depart, you'll begin the approximate two and half hour journey from Central London to Stonehenge.

Upon arrival, you are free to explore the site at your leisure. Take a stroll around the impressive stone structure and learn about the attraction's origins and the fascinating history of Salisbury Plain where Stonehenge proudly sits. Additionally, you can visit the remarkable Unesco World Heritage Site’s exhibition and visitor center, where you will uncover the story of the stones, the land and its people through audio-visual experiences.

What time does the tour leave London? 

The departure point of the tour is at Bus Stop 8, Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria, SW1W 9SH. The check-in time for this self-guided tour is 8am. The coach departs Victoria, central London, at 8.30am.

Afternoon departures (April to September) are scheduled for 12.45pm check-in and depart at 1pm. 

Please ensure that you arrive at the departure point at the time of check-in and don’t forget your e-ticket.

What time does the coach get back to London? 

The coach arrives back in London at the drop-off point at Gloucester Road tube station (Zone 1) at approximately 2.30pm.

Afternoon tours will return at approximately 6.30pm.
