Popular with Instagrammers, this dessert shop serves up melt-in-the-mouth homemade egg waffles stuffed with gelato or cream.

Expect to queue for this yummy street food snack, where diners can choose from three waffle flavours, six gelatos, 14 toppings and nine sauces.

Combinations range from the classic strawberry, raspberry and nutella, to the more unusual matcha, mochi and red bean. Savoury options include egg and avocado.

Egg waffles first appeared in Hong Kong in the 1950s when people didn't want to waste broken eggs, so they added milk and flour to turn them into waffles.
