About

Olympia is one of London’s most ambitious regeneration projects.

Built 140 years ago as an events and exhibitions venue, it is now entering a new chapter: a £1.3bn regeneration sees Olympia transforming into a world-leading showcase for global culture, live entertainment, innovation and creativity.

Designed by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC, Olympia will be home to:
• Four event and exhibition venues, including the heritage halls, alongside a new International Convention Centre (ICC), together accommodating up to 20,000 visitors.
• The Addison, a new lounge designed for hosting premium hospitality experiences.
• The British Airways Theatre, the largest purpose-built theatre in London in 50 years, with 1,575 seats, operated by Trafalgar Entertainment and The Shubert Organization.
• British Airways ARC, a 3,800-capacity live music and events venue, operated by AEG Presents.
• A host of new places to eat and drink, with operators including Incipio and D3 Collective.
• Two new hotels: citizenM London Olympia and Hyatt Regency London Olympia.
• A boutique gym run by 1Rebel.
• 550,000 sq ft (51,097 sq m) of state-of-the-art offices, with some of the largest rooftop terraces in London.
• Wetherby Pembridge, a new co-educational senior school; operated by the Inspired Education Group.

Following the opening of Wetherby Pembridge in September 2025, the new public spaces will start opening from spring 2026, culminating in the theatre in 2027.
