Islington's Screen on the Green is a stunning cinema probably best known for hosting a legendary 1976 gig featuring the Buzzcocks, The Clash and the Sex Pistols. Nowadays, the single screen Edwardian moviehouse boasts an in-cinema bar serving food and drinks and your choice of comfy cinema seats or double couches.

Top 5 reviews of Everyman Screen on the Green Islington
Screen on the Green happens to be once of my favourite cinemas in the country, which, due to my limited experience, means it hits my top 5 cinemas in the WORLD too!
WOW, with that to recommend it why aren't you always coming here?
So, seriously. I love that the cinema seats are more like armchairs, with the VIP seats being a sofa for tow, with a footstool so you can really enjoy the cinema... more
Such a charming little theatre! It's only got 1 screen, very comfy seats, and great sound. Sure, the screen isn't IMAX-sized, but big enough for me.

Too cold? Let them know and they will turn up the heat or give you a blanket. Try for the couch seats if... more
A beautiful independant cinema centrally located in Angel - Islington. Just one screen here but one of the most cosy and relaxed environments inside. Huge comfy sofas and seats, restling legs objects and a full operating bar inside the screen's room. The absolute experience for romantic screenings. more

Usually choose great films to show too. Finally the bar is great for... more
