Nestled in amongst the independent shops and traders of bustling Camden Passage is the Grade II-listed pub, The Camden Head.
Many of the original features of this Victorian building remain, including etched glass partitions and ornate lamps, transporting visitors back to its days as a gin palace. While outside there’s plenty of seating on the terrace to watch shoppers try and haggle at vintage stalls.
In addition to a good range of beers and spirits, there’s a menu offering traditional pub fare including hearty pies and fish and chips.

Bad service. Terrible food. And very poor selection of beers.
Avoid if you can.
Asked bar staff for 2 drinks and to recommend a dish. Was suggested a to have a pull pork burrito.
My friend was not hungry so only ordered one dish. Unfortunately music was so loud hat bar staff didn't hear me properly and I didn't hear her. I thought she asked me do you want 2 drinks. So I payed again.... more
I've been here for comedy and I've been here for food, both good experiences. The service is good here, albeit crappy right before the comedy starts and after it ends because there are just so many damn people. Prices are fair. more
This pub has a limited menu, but what they do, they do quite well. Smoked burgers. Burgers are smoked in your choice of whiskey, hickory, applewood, cherry, oak, and maybe some others I don't recall. Topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a tasty burger sauce. I tasted both the applewood and whiskey smoked burgers. The whiskey was my favorite, but it was clear you got very different flavors... more
This is a fun pub to go to and the smoked burgers are great. It was one of the finest burgers I have had in London. It is fun when they bring you a burger under glass and the smell of the smoke as you uncover the burger is amazing. more
The comedy at 9pm is free! which is sweet, even when it's improv. To be fair, the improv dudes were actually pretty good. Also the beer isn't really more expensive than usual despite the free cover to the show. more
