The widely acclaimed Burlesque the Musical is returning to London this autumn, after touring the UK all summer long. After taking the West End by storm last year, the dazzling show is returning to open at the Arts at Marble Arch.

This musical adaptation of Steven Antin’s 2010 crowd-pleasing film, which starred Christina Aguilera in the lead role, follows Ali – a small-town girl who stumbles upon a hidden music scene in New York City she never knew existed: a burlesque club run by Tess (played in the film by none other than Cher).

Under the bustling city life lies an underground scene where anything is possible – from mesmerising, seductive dance routines to chasing a lifelong dream and discovering who you truly are.

London cast of Burlesque The Musical

The cast for the London production of Burlesque The Musical has yet to be confirmed.

Previous performances featured a standout lineup, including Jess Folley (winner of The Voice Kids UK and X Factor: The Band) as Ali, Jackie Burns (Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway and Celine Dion in Titanique Off-Broadway) as Tess, Olivier Award-winner George Maguire (Sunny Afternoon) as Vince, Billie Kay Payne (42nd Street) as Sophia, and Yasmin Harrison (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) as Brenda.

Please note that Christina Aguilera and Cher do not appear in the show.
