222 Veggie Vegan

Vegan restaurant 222 Veggie Vegan doesn't do deep frying or refined foods such as white rice, bread and pasta. Go at lunchtime for the healthy buffet, or visit in the evening to sample the full a la carte menu. Dishes include tofu medallion piccata with spaghetti, and pancakes stuffed with tofu and broccoli.

Blah Blah Blah

Blah Blah Blah is a relaxed haven serving an eclectic mix of Asian, Mediterranean, North African and European cuisine, with dishes ranging from Thai curry to aubergine schnitzel. You can bring your own wine, making a meal here very affordable. The paper tablecloths and crayons make it a great place for kids.

Beatroot

Super healthy and super tasty, Beatroot is a budget vegetarian café in Soho. Choose a small, medium or large container and the friendly staff will fill it with to the brim with their fresh veggie food. Beatroot also caters for vegan, wheat-free and vegan diets. Rootmaster

Rootmaster is London's "original vegan bustaurant". Based at Old Truman Brewery off Brick Lane in East London, it's a vegan restaurant in an old Routemaster bus. Pop in for a Rootmaster panini at lunchtime, or savour the evening menu of red lentil kofta, organic nut cutlet, and flame grilled tofu tower.

Vegetarian, organic, Italian – Amico Bio ticks all these boxes.
