Alan Ducasse at The Dorchester in London's Park Lane surpassed expectations. The food was great, the service super and the ambience relaxed. Especially enjoyed the Veal and the wine pairings. Also really appreciated a small tour of the private dining area and the wine cellar. My only gripe is that i couldn't differentiate the service and food quality to that of a one star restaurant, nevertheless i enjoyed myself all the same.

I went with my girlfriend for a romantic meal. Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester is as much an experience as it is a meal out. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff was only outshone by the generous portions and 'extra little treats' we were given throughout the meal. Surprisingly unpretentious with amazing food and service!

Excellent service, waiters took time to fully explain the menu. Excellent food, quite expensive though.

Visiting Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester is always a special occasion. The service is superb and the quality of the cooking exemplary. The menu changes seasonally but whether all the dishes are to your taste is the main issue. We had the taster menu and the standout out dishes include the lobster and the venison. The halibut was a little dry and the vegetarian tart lacked that certain wow factor. We swapped the dessert for the souffle which is very filling. Check out the menu on line.
