Tom's Kitchen

About Tom's Kitchen

He may be one of London’s most celebrated chefs but that doesn’t mean Tom Aikens is dedicated to over-complex cordon bleu. In fact Tom’s Kitchen is more gastropub than gourmet with its white-washed brick walls, scrubbed wood tables and reclaimed fixtures and fittings. From breakfast through to dinner the Tom’s Kitchen philosophy is that food should be inclusive – something to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family, something which evokes memories and feelings and something which isn’t fussy and pretentious. With this in mind the menu is fresh, local and seasonal with comfortingly familiar flavours; from classical British fish and chips to a warming French style duck confit with cannellini bean cassoulet.

Toms Kitchen in Chelsea - had brunch with two friends on Saturday 4 Feb. Fantastic food - I can see why it's voted one of London's best brunch venues.

Very welcoming and helpful at front desk (provided much needed change for parking machines). Service was attentive but not at all overbearing. The menu offered a wide choice of dishes suitable for any time of the day and the chips were out of this world. The restaurant was full when we arrived and people were still arriving two hours later. Not recommended if you want a quiet chat - but who would choose a kitchen for that? Tom's kitchen, London SW3 3QP Saturday late lunch

Perfect brunch: combination of eggs Benedict/Royal with amazing deserts: expresso creme brulee and hot chocolate pot

Although one avoids the poor ventilation of the downstairs dining room, upstairs is a little too quiet and lacking in any real atmosphere. Service hoiwever is excellent as is the food and wine. Salads, butternut squash soup and sticky toffee pudding all perfect! Tom's Kitchen, Chelsea London
