Having known this place was here for years, I'd never stopped in until quite recently. I guess I had no idea that it was a bit TARDIS-like compared to its outer appearance (although it's not huge, it's considerably larger than it seems). Perfect Saturday mornings are when I roll out of bed, stroll down to Northcote, pick up some pastries or some bread and cheese and wander back home to dig in. I love the bread stall the most- the folks working there are always so friendly and their bread, pizza, sandwiches, croissants and cupcakes are all incredibly tasty!

Unassumingly nestled towards the bottom of Northcote Road, this antique market is a bit of Lion Witch and Wardrobe territory. I love Northcote Road Market for it's diversity, it's food and it's casual atmosphere. I was a local to SW11 a few years back and my boyfriend and I used to visit the market for fresh bread or homemade taramasalata, whatever was on offer on any given weekend.
