With amazing shows and raucous club nights The Hippodrome acts as the go-to venue for indie music fans in Kingston. The famous New Slang live music night, run by local record store Banquet Records, has attracted big names since the mid-2000s, including Everything Everything, The Libertines and The Horrors.

The space also hosts club nights throughout the week, which are popular with students from the local university.
