The central London neighbourhood has a packed events calendar, with star attractions including free floral festival Belgravia in Bloom, which is taking place this year from 20 to 27 May.

Must-visit Belgravia destinations include flower-filled Elizabeth Street, which is a short walk from Victoria station. The street is lined with popular cafes, including Peggy Porschen, Chestnut Bakery and Tomtom Coffee House, as well as independent shops, such as Beulah, Jo Loves, ME+EM and NRBY.

Also near Victoria station is wellness and foodie hub Eccleston Yards, a leafy courtyard filled with welcoming dining spots, such as steak restaurant The Jones Family Kitchen, salad bar Atis, and luxury biscuit icing cafe and shop Biscuiteers. Also in the courtyard are fitness studios, including Barry's, Hotpod yoga, Psycle, and meditation studio Re:Mind.

Near Knightsbridge station, pedestrianised Motcomb Street merits exploration for its globally-renowned hair salons Errol Douglas and Hershesons; fashion favourites Eres and Corthay; and world-famous florist Neill Strain Floral Couture.

A hit with interior designers and discerning shoppers is the Pimlico Road Design District, near Sloane Square tube station, where big-name interior brands include Robert Kime, Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, Carl Hansen, Linley and many more.
