I was taken here for my birthday December last year. I think from the moment we stepped in it was clear that we were not the usual clientele. But that only made the servers more wonderful to us.
With every course the sommelier came over and spoke to us in terms we would understand explaining the wine to us and not making us feel uncomfortable at all.

I really wanted to try a Michelin-starred restaurant overseas, and though I would have loved to try something British, we ultimately decided on Pied-a-Terre due to its location and menu affordability.
