I am a fan... but not for the food.

While the food is just a mediocre 3/5 stars, the view and the setting is what makes this place. Go early for lunch- like right at opening at noon - to get a table by the window. Enjoy a bottle of wine, have some food, spend time there with someone just chit chatting - one of the nicest views in town. more

Wonderful views, huge space, you may have to wait to get a table. You can also have a cocktail while you wait, and if you're lucky, you can get a seat by a window looking out towards the Shard. Staff was nice, but slow. Had the extra large cut chips, chicken entrée and the salmon on cucumber starter. The bloody Mary's were really nice- the horseradish infused vodka was unique and quite tasty. more

Great views but not impressed by the food. Huge room with small windows all round. If you are visiting Tate Modern it is a nice way to end the visit to this modern art mecca. more
