Rules Restaurant

Follow in the footsteps of famous faces by dining on British classics at this historic restaurant.

About

The oldest restaurant in London, Rules has been serving traditional British food since 1798. Once frequented by Charles Dickens and H.G Wells, the restaurant has retained its historical charm with leather banquettes, low-level lighting and antique pictures.

Its traditional feel also applies to its food. You’ll find hearty traditional British dishes such as pies and puddings, as well as game and beef from the restaurant's own estate.

Its wide-ranging wine list features mostly French wines; while the atmospheric bar upstairs serves a range of spirits and classic cocktails.

Prices

Average main course £24.00 to £35.00 per diner
