Clissold Park
About
Enjoy a peaceful stroll through Clissold Park, a large open space in Stoke Newington, where you might spot the herd of fallow deer.
The park has been open to the public since 1889 and is a great space for both adults and children to explore.
Sit and take in calming views of the river or take advantage of the sports facilities, which include tennis courts, a skate park and a table tennis table. The kids can let off steam in the children’s play area, while in the summer months they can splash about in the outdoor water zone.
Grade II-listed Clissold House sits at the centre of the park and is home to a café offering eat-in sandwiches, salads and made-to-order hot food, as well as takeaway picnic treats.
Clissold Park opening times
The park opens by 7.30am at the latest throughout the year, while closing times range from 5pm to 9.30pm depending on the time of year.
