Enjoy dishes from a modern European menu and stunning views of the river Thames at Sam’s Riverside in Hammersmith.

Watch the sun set from your table in the light and airy restaurant, or take a seat on the terrace and get a bird’s-eye view of the rowers passing under Hammersmith Bridge. There’s also counter seating available at the bar.

Menu favourites include British oysters, shellfish and seafood, and there are plenty of meat and vegetarian options. Expect dishes such as crab and Gruyere souffle, rib-eye steak and lobster roll and chips. Look out for Oyster Happy Hour early evenings from Monday to Friday.

Find the restaurant next to the Riverside Studios on the Thames Path, not far from Hammersmith Bridge. Just opposite is another member of the Sam’s family, Sam’s Kitchen, a cosy cafe serving breakfast, brunch and lunch. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night it transforms into a burger joint serving a selection of burgers, from regular cheeseburgers to Nashville hot chicken burgers.
