Official National Gallery highlights tour

On this one-hour tour, you’ll be introduced to a selection of iconic artwork from one of the greatest collections of Western European paintings at London’s National Gallery.

Led by a gallery-approved Blue Badge Guide, your expert will reveal a number of impressive masterpieces hand-picked for their fascinating stories and impactful contributions to the world of art.

What is the cost of the tour and how do I book?

Tickets for the tour cost £25 for adults (18 years or over) and £18 for children (5-17 years). Tours are usually available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10.30am, 2pm and 3.30pm.

Is the tour accessible?

Tours will begin at the Sainsbury Wing, the National Gallery’s main entrance located on Trafalgar Square. After passing through security, guests should make their way to the Tours Meeting Point in the Sainsbury Wing Foyer on the ground floor, located on the right-hand side near the staircase. The guide will be wearing a yellow Official National Guide badge.

The Gallery offers separate British Sign Language-interpreted tours on paintings for visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as art sessions for visitors who are blind and partially sighted.
