Visit Buckingham Palace
Start the day with a tour of Buckingham Palace, the official residence of King Charles III and the administrative headquarters of the Royal Household.
Open for only eight weeks a year, your visit allows you to step inside the 19 State Rooms, each exquisitely decorated and filled with historical artefacts and treasures. See the Throne Room featuring the throne chairs used in the coronation ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. The palace tour ends with a walk through the magnificent Palace Gardens.
Discover Stonehenge
Next, make your way to Bulleid Way, near Victoria Station, to hop on a luxury coach to Stonehenge. Wander around the mysterious 5,000 year-old monoliths, as you learn about the many theories explaining their origins and purpose. Look out for stone 56, which is the tallest, and stone 52 – Christopher Wren, who designed St Paul's Cathedral, carved "Wren" into it. Don't miss the Neolithic Houses near the Visitor Centre, which are remodelled on the ruins that were found in 2006 and 2007 near Stonehenge.
Head back to London in time for dinner.
