The lively hub of a creative collective housed within a former Victorian school, Rochelle Canteen serves up simple yet creative breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes; from avocado on toast, to skate with monk’s beard and capers.
Run by event caterers Melanie Arnold and Margot Henderson (Arnold & Henderson), this Shoreditch eatery is concealed within an old bike shed, but expands into a tranquil garden with tables and benches on sunny days.
Chat to some of the resident workers over lunch, or relax with a coffee and book outdoors – it’s open to all, and you’ll learn more about its creative community in the process.

Top 5 reviews of Rochelle Canteen
This was a nice little find in East London. When I trek all the way to the other side, I like to find little "hideouts", to which this really fit the description. On the garden... This is the ultimate spot for a sunny day as most of the tables are outside in this... more

Service was extremely slow throughout our visit. No one answering the buzzer for 5 minutes, no one seating us, eventually taking us to a table which was dirty and again left for another 15 minutes before even cleaning it up. Finally taking our food order after being prompted a few times.
After getting very... more
