About
Discover the delights of Sri Lankan cuisine at Hoppers in Soho.
Named after the traditonal bowl shaped savoury crepe or Hopper, the restaurant also serves Sri Lankan curries, known as Karis, kothus and dosas, pancakes made from split black lentils and cooked on flat griddles.
Traditional Sri Lankan ingredients such as jackfruit and bone marrow feature on the menu. There’s also a choice of ‘short eats’ which are smaller, lighter portions. These include kothu roti, a dish made from chopped up chapatti-style breads mixed with savoury ingredients like meat or vegetables and egg.
Step inside and be transported to a little slice of Sri Lankan life with cosy interiors, warm lighting and walls adorned with Sri Lankan poster art and Tamil comic imagery.
