Book a self-guided tour of the Grade II-listed Crystal Palace subway, a Victorian landmark originally designed to give first-class rail passengers access to the Crystal Palace.
Restored in 2024, the subway is now open to visitors on selected days. Walk through the groined arches of coloured brick and stone and look up at the splendid vestibuled roof made of glass and iron.
As you wander through the subway, you’ll find staff and volunteers on hand to provide information about the site’s history. Find details of the public open days on the Crystal Palace Park website.
