Great pub, restaurant, gastropub or whatever you want to call it.

I like the beautiful interior, the nice comfy fire place, and all sorts of rooms like the more real pub feeling area but also a dining room.

Great menu with both pubfood and more elaborate stuff.

They serve both Sunday roast and a la carte food on Sundays. more

After the initial shock of this pub no longer selling Guinness. The revamp hasn't ruined it. And I can't fault the way it's been turned from a real nice boozer to a (for want of a better word) gastropub.

Usually I hate these places, but it really hasn't ruined the place.

It's big as well with a cocktail bar upstairs and a dining room out back. more

Terrible! Food took nearly an hour to arrive and that too after multiple complaints. Fish pie was nearly all mashed potato with no fish. Beef shin stew had less meat than a Mcdonalds burger. Roasts passable but overpriced for the tiny meat portion. Dessert never came so had to order the bill. This place has gone completely downhill and will likely shutter soon. more

20 or so taps and a fantastic kitchen making some of he best food in Kentish town.

Would *highly* recommend the sausage rolls and the TRIPLE cooked chips.

Very trendy atmosphere and the place kinda knows it - the price reflect such - still the food is what keeps me coming back. more

I guess it's more a case of what you want at the time. For me this is the perfect lazy Sunday afternoon dwelling or chilling out with a couple of drinks on a Friday night. Not the place to go if your looking for a lively starting or finishing point. The food looks good but I didnt try. As I've only had drinks I can only score it on what I've experienced which is what I've done. more
