Events include talks from some of the world’s leading scientists and thinkers on subjects that range from the future of AI to genetics. A recent event explored the real science behind Star Trek!

Make sure you visit the Faraday Museum, part of the Royal Institution, named after English chemist and physicist, Michael Faraday. Here you can see his magnetic laboratory set out as it would have been in the 1850s, opposite a state-of-the-art nanotechnology lab.

There’s plenty more to discover, including the first electrical transformer, the identities of the 14 Nobel Prize winners who have worked at the RI and there’s even a game based on the chemical elements that were discovered at the RI.
