Hidden gem is definitely the best way to describe this place. I was quite shocked by it! The bar area is stunning...the theatre a decent size and my only complaint was the obnoxious man on the box office! But really surprised I haven't been here before! It's great! more

The Bridewell doesn't put on large scale productions, it's a small theatre largely... more

Tucked out of the way the Bridewell is a hidden gem in the city.

Offering a selection of lunchtime performances, the Bridewell gives and great cultural alternative to otherwise boring, mundane working lunches.

You can take your lunch along and enjoy the rapid pace of these intimate productions.

We have seen Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare and many others performed here - it's true escapism... more
