Parliament Square

One of London's most popular and important tourist spots, Parliament Square is located in Westminster, right next to world-famous Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

The square was created in the 1860s and contains statues of well-known statesmen including Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln and Nelson Mandela.

Many demonstrations and protests have been held in Parliament Square, an area of significant historic and symbolic value.
