Average pub with a decent menu. We al got
Fish and chips which was good but not great. Atmosphere was nice right on a busy street. Service was ok but not horrible. You have to order at the bar and then they bring your food to the table. I guess this is fairly common in London. Prices were Ok. more
Visited London for work and went for a few drinks with friends after the event finished. The pub was just a few doors down from the hotel I was staying at.
All in, a nice little pub and reasonably priced at that. The one thing I'm marking this down on is the ridiculously small unisex toilet they have.

I lost my photos from this trip. I wish I could show you how unappetizingly grey the inside of my chicken and mushroom pie was. The mashed potatoes it came with were so gelatinous and stiff that they held multiple utensils upright. I didn't eat any of it.
The pints were fine. Service was good. The decor was typical for a pub. But don't - I repeat, do not - order food! more
My husband and I stopped in here after lots of walking, ready to have a late weekday lunch.
